Social Support Officer and Bus Driver
The Town of East Fremantle is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Social Support Officer and Bus Driver to work in a team dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families. This part-time role is for two days per week (15 hours), with the flexibility of being available to take on more hours if required. Applicants will need to demonstrate experience in working in support or similar roles and also have:
- Certificate III in Community Services.
- C Class Driver's License
- Light Rigid (LR) Driver's License, or willingness to obtain
- Passenger Transport Driver Authorisation (PTD Authorisation)
- A current National Police Clearance Certificate
- A current First Aid Certificate, including CPR Certification
- Recent Flu Vaccination
Tasks include:
- Support clients to participate in appropriate activities and tasks including in home support, Centre-based activities and community access.
- Provide direct care assistance to each client in accordance with their service plan and as directed by the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)
- Provide safe client transport
- Provide a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
